Privacy
The protection of your data matters to me. This statement explains which data is processed when you visit this website and when you get in touch. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you visit the website, data such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type is processed in server log files for technical reasons. This is necessary to deliver the website and operate it securely. Without your consent, no cookies are set for analytics or marketing purposes.
Web analytics with Google Analytics
If you agree in the notice at the bottom of the screen, I use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the website. Google sets cookies and processes, for example, pages viewed, time on page, device, browser, approximate location (city or region) and a random identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. The advertising features and the linking with other Google services are switched off. The data is kept for 14 months at most. With your consent I also measure form submissions and clicks on contact links (phone, email, “Request a free intro call”) as anonymous events. Neither your name, nor your email address, nor the content of your message is sent to Google, only that an event took place, for example which topic you are interested in.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Ireland), for users outside the EEA and Switzerland Google LLC (USA). The legal basis is your consent. Without it, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can change your decision at any time: the link «Cookie settings» at the bottom of every page reopens the notice, and «Decline» withdraws your consent and removes the Google cookies. Your decision is stored on your device together with its date, and I ask again after 12 months.
Online advertising and measuring results
When I run ads, I want to know whether they lead to enquiries. For this the notice at the bottom of the screen offers a «Marketing» choice, separate from statistics. Only if you agree to «Marketing» are the following services loaded. They set cookies or similar identifiers and learn that you visited this website, which pages you viewed and whether you sent an enquiry or requested a workbook. They do not learn names, messages or the content of your forms through the website. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the link «Cookie settings» at the bottom of every page, which also removes the cookies of these services. I ask again after 12 months. The providers' contract terms apply to these services, with standard contractual clauses where required.
Meta. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Ireland), for users outside the EEA Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA). The Meta pixel sets cookies («_fbp», «_fbc»). In addition my server sends an event to Meta (Conversions API) when you submit a form with your marketing consent: type of enquiry (contact or workbook), time, page address, your email address as a one-way hash, your IP address, the browser string and the values of the Meta cookies. Name, phone number, company and message are not sent. Without marketing consent this does not happen. Meta processes the data under its own data policy, over which I have only limited influence.
Fonts
The Raleway font is delivered by this website itself. No connection to Google servers is made.
Getting in touch
If you write to me by email, phone or through the contact form, I use your details (for example first name, last name, email, phone, company, message, optionally how you heard about me, and when and how you would like to be reached) only to answer your request. Entries in the contact form are processed through Cloudflare (USA), reach me as a notification through the email service Resend (USA) and are stored for documentation in a database at Cloudflare. After you submit, you receive an automatic confirmation by email at the address you gave, which is also sent through Resend. If you arrive through a link in one of my workbooks (QR code or link in the PDF), I also store which workbook the link came from (for example “workbook/qr/auftritt”), to see which workbooks lead to requests.
Workbook download and contact list
When you request a workbook, you provide your first name, last name, email address and, if you like, your company. The purpose is to send you the workbook by email. I send the PDF automatically through the email service Resend (USA). I am notified of every request by email.
In the form you can also tick, voluntarily, that I may contact you by email, for example with practical tips, invitations or offers on presenting, negotiating, networking and innovation, personally or in an automated way. The box is not pre-ticked, and the download works without it. The legal basis for this is your consent. Without the tick, I use your address only to send the workbook and for a possible personal reply to your request.
I store your email address, first name, the workbook you requested, whether you consented (with the time and the version of the wording) and, if present, the campaign values from the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). The contact list is kept in a database at Cloudflare that runs in Eastern Europe (EU). Cloudflare is a US company; more on transfers is further below. I keep a working copy of the contact list in my Google Workspace (Google Drive, access only for me). I do not currently use a separate email marketing tool. If I do, I will add it here with its server location.
Retention: with consent, I keep your details until you withdraw it. Without consent, I delete them after 30 days, because I only need them for sending the workbook. I keep the record of a consent and of a withdrawal (with the time) for documentation. On request, I delete that as well.
Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time, with the unsubscribe link in my emails or by email to jeremias@jurt-consulting.ch. After that I no longer use your address to get in touch. There is no regular newsletter.
Protecting the forms against misuse
To stop my forms from being misused by robots or with invented addresses, I use three safeguards. First, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a request comes from a human and processes technical data such as the IP address and browser data for this (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Second, my website checks whether an email address is plausible: for this, the part after the @ is looked up at a public Cloudflare DNS service to see whether the domain can receive email. Third, I limit the number of requests per email address and per network. For this I store, for 24 hours at most, a one-way check value (hash) of the email and the IP address, not the addresses themselves. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running the website securely.
Retention
I keep requests as long as they are needed for communication and for documenting our collaboration. On request, I delete your data at any time.
Disclosure and transfers abroad
My service providers Cloudflare (hosting, forms, database) and Resend (email delivery) are based in the USA, and Google (web analytics, only with your consent) also processes data there. The same applies to the marketing services you can allow in the notice. Your data may therefore be transferred to the USA. I have data processing agreements with all three providers, which include standard contractual clauses. Any further disclosure to third parties, for example for advertising purposes, does not take place.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Write to me at jeremias@jurt-consulting.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Notes for visitors from the EU and EEA
The legal bases of processing under the GDPR are Art. 6(1)(a) (your consent, for example to be contacted by email after a workbook download), (b) (handling your request) and (f) (legitimate interest in operating the website securely and answering requests). For transfers to the USA, standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR apply where required. You have the rights under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR. You can also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority.
The legal basis for Google Analytics is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time through the link «Cookie settings» at the bottom of every page. The same applies to the marketing services.
